Rama Crystal Brown is a Fine Artist with a Craftswoman's edge. While working towards her Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts, at Massachusetts College of Art, she became drawn to Sculpture through her classes in Woodworking and began to combine her 2D & 3D Art. After graduating with her BFA in 2009, Rama was in several significant Exhibitions including: "COLLECTIVE" at the Galatea Fine Arts, Boston MA, juried by Dina Deitsch, Assistant Curator at the DeCordova Sculpture Park and Museum; "THE BEAST IN ME", at the Nave Gallery, Sommerville MA, curated by Jenn Harrington; "KAHBANG" at the KALEIDOSCOPE Gallery in Bangor ME. While she is still enveloped in the Fine Arts, Rama also transfers her creativity and knowledge into more functional applications such as: Frames, Tile Mosaics, Murals and Set Painting. She Currently resides in Skowhegan ME, and has seasonal Art Shows at her Gallery/ Woodshop/ Art Studio Downtown at 75 Water St.
