Human Nature is constantly affected by environment; human beings are forever transforming and adapting to their surroundings. Having roots in Maine, bark in the Boston suburbs and many branches in the city of Boston, I am intrigued by how human nature is affected by environment. My work often symbolizes a transformative state of perception. I often draw from within, creating an analogical self-portrait of sorts, portraying psychological metamorphosis and growth. I strive to create balance through chaos and attempt to personify dualities of life. My work is a reflection on the interlacing of past and present, gazing into the forever swirling and shifting forces of nature, relating to the human condition and the many paths we take.
